Beau Visage named in The Times top 100 beauty products
Beau Visage, the pioneering skin imaging and consultation system designed by Astron Clinica, has been cited in The Times’ top 100 beauty products listing.
Beau Visage was named as the ‘best pro-active skin consultation’ as part of the prestigious facial skincare feature. Since its consumer launch earlier in the year, Beau Visage has seen a huge amount of support from the media and has been featured on GMTV’s LK Today in addition to print publications including the Daily Mirror, Celebs on Sunday, Tatler, Love It!, More, Woman and Men’s Health. In conjunction with New! magazine Beau Visage was also used to assess the skin’s of celebrities Kate Garraway, Jodie Marsh, Bianca Gascoigne, Imogen Thomas and Charlotte Mears.
Annie Brooking, CEO of Astron Clinica said: “We are delighted with the media interest we have received since launching Beau Visage to the consumer market. We were in no doubt that Beau Visage would capture the interest of the health and beauty industry and we are hoping that this is just the tip of the iceberg! We are now in a position where consumers are contacting us and asking where they can get a Beau Visage consultation. This is fantastic as it enables us to introduce new clients to our customers - what better customer service! It really makes a Beau Visage the must have tool for every beauty and aesthetic clinic”.
A Beau Visage consultation is used as an essential selling tool by health and beauty practitioners. It is designed to educate clients on the health of their skin by analysing up to 2mm beneath its surface. Based on SIAscopy, the unique patented skin imaging technology that Beau Visage uses allows a practitioner to scientifically assess the skin’s components responsible for the way a client looks and predict how they might age.
By calculating the distribution of blood, melanin and sun damage in a client’s face, their skin age can be determined. Based on these findings a practitioner can then advise on the most suitable skincare regime and/or treatments to address any areas of concern. Beau Visage allows the practitioner to work with the client to track changes over time, prove the benefits of the new regime and address new problem areas as and when they occur.
