Beau Visage is an advanced consultation system enabling you to record all your clients’ details, so they are stored on a database for return visit. This includes personal details, contact details and a snap shot of the customer so their information is easy to identify in the database. Client details are secured through password protection and the ability to hide client identification information.

Chromophore Maps

Visualising blood, melanin and sun damage views, up to 2 mm beneath the surface of the skin is what distinguishes Beau Visage as an advanced consultation system. With high quality photography and the unique zoom feature to focus on areas of interest treatments and products can be easily recommended. The chromophore maps have a huge impact on the client and really enhance their understanding of what is happening with their skin and help to qualify the need for products and treatments to improve or maintain their skin health.

Skin Age Score

The Skin Age module allows you to calculate your clients’ skin age quickly and accurately. Using the clients’ images to compare against a same sex peer database gives a Skin Age Score. This score is displayed along with an indication of how the clients’ skin compares against a database of their peers. Using this information you can recommend treatments and products suitable for improving and maintaining the clients’ skin health.

Beauty Timeline

Seeing really is believing.

Beau Visage enables you and your client to visualise change using Beauty Timeline. The images can be viewed in parallel for comparison. Changes in the blood and melanin views are particularly impactful.

With Beau Visage you will, for the first time, witness the effect of various treatments tracked over time, helping you to manage clients’ treatments and beauty regimes and gain customer loyalty.

The Catalogue

Treatments and products offered at the clinic can be integrated into the Beau Visage consultation and recommended to the report. This is totally customisable to the clinic and includes such detail as overview of the products, pricing and usage.

Shopping Basket

This interactive feature in the software enables you to ‘go shopping’ with your client, recommend relevant treatments and products and design a unique home care regime. This can then all be printed in the report for the client to take home.

Customised Skin Analysis Report

Beau Visage will provide clients with their own personal skin analysis report to take away with them. What the report shows is dependent on the modules purchased. The clients’ colour image, alongside the chromophore maps showing the distribution of blood, melanin, and sun damage in the clients’ face will always be in the report. This enables you to discuss appropriate treatments with the client that may balance the chromophores in the face and bring a more youthful appearance. Along with a measure of skin age, enabling an evaluation of skin health relative to age.

The SIAscope enables the use of contact SIAscopy in giving a more detailed analysis of areas of skin on the face. The SIAscope is a hand held scanner that can accompany your system and enable you to use the following detailed skin analysis modules*:

Contact Sheet

This creates a simulation of what a clients’ face may look like with varying levels of melanin and blood removed, which can be viewed in both parallel and overlay. This can help prove to the client that either a blood or melanin based treatment will have a positive effect on creating even skin tone and a more youthful appearance.

Comparison Tool

This allows suitable treatments to be selected, the region of the face the treatment is going to be applied to can be identified and stored. Following a course of treatments the percentage change in blood and melanin can be calculated on the areas treated to reassure both visual and statistical confirmation of improvement.

Wrinkle Analysis

Wrinkles play an important role in defining our appearance and once treated can enhance our appearance dramatically. Beau Visage helps you to visualise and manage wrinkles using the Wrinkle Analysis module. The Wrinkle Analysis module provides automatic horizontal wrinkle detection over an area defined on the clients’ face. Any wrinkles that are found will be highlighted on the clients’ image making them easy to see. This information can form part of the treatment plan and can be analysed over time using Beauty Timeline. The wrinkles module not only picks out those visible lines we can clearly see, but also very fine lines that are only just forming, therefore allowing you to start recommending skin tightening treatments and fillers.

Sun Damage Score*

Excessive sun damage can have a dramatic effect on the skin aging process. The Sun Damage score is generated by comparing two regions, the face (which is most exposed to the sun) and the inner arm (which is least exposed to the sun), this means the clients’ own skin is used to calculate the score. The score is generated quickly and displayed on the screen and this information can be used to discuss ways of helping to reduce further deterioration and suggest products and treatments beneficial to the client.

Spot Collagen*

As we age the overall amount of collagen in the skin declines and the structure of the collagen becomes more disordered. The effect of this decline in the amount and the quality of the collagen is twofold: the skin luminosity decreases and the structural collagen (in the deep layers of the skin) loosens. Beau Visage enables you to measure the luminosity of your clients’ skin using the Spot Collagen module and a handheld scanner for contact SIAscopy. The Spot Collagen Module measures both the quantity and the quality of collagen (in the upper layers of the skin) and assigns a score between 0 and 10, where lower scores indicate poorer levels of collagen distribution.

Spot Dermal Melanin*

Beau Visage uses the Spot Dermal Melanin module to allow you to check if dermal melanin is present before undertaking any treatments. Aestheticians may not want to carry out particular treatments if they know that dermal melanin is present, as it may indicate a suspicious lesion but also because certain treatments will be unpredictable and could make pigmentation problems worse. Using the Spot Dermal Melanin module for Beau Visage allows a fast and accurate result, and because it uses SIAscopy to analyse up to 2mm beneath the surface of the skin, it is the only method available which can show dermal melanin without the use of more costly and painful biopsy.

Leslie Baumann Skin Type Solution

Dr Leslie Baumann has developed a skin type questionnaire which can be used to determine your client’s skin type and then recommend products that are particularly suited. The skin type solution is divided in to four sections, each containing a range of questions to help determine skin type.
