Rash Manager

Dermatologists see a wide range of skin conditions that manifest an erythemic reaction. Common examples include Rosacea, Eczema, a variety of skin infections and contact dermatitis conditions. Collectively we refer to these as "rashes".

Subjective monitoring of rashes and the efficacy of various treatments over time is difficult. In order to assist skin specialists assess, record and monitor rashes, and their change and treatment over time, Astron Clinica introduces Rash Manager as part of its Skin Condition family of products.

Working with non-contact SIAscans captured with a digital camera system*, Rash Manager can measure haemoglobin up to 2 mm under the skin. Rash Manager also provides an easy to use system that assists the specialist to take SIAscans of the area of interest - automatically linking them to the patient's body using a standard 22 Point body map.

The user's workflow is guided with an intuitive point-and-click user interface to outline the area of interest on the SIAscan. This means that nurses can easily prepare SIAscans for examination in clinic, enabling the specialist to spend more quality time with the patient.

Using our patented technology, SIAscopy, Rash Manager automatically calculates both the extent of the condition and its position on a severity index, whilst providing the specialist with tools to both record the patient history and annotate the patient's SIAscans on a 22 Point body map.

Rash Manager is customisable, so the skin specialist can input their own preferred menu of treatment options that also speeds up the annotation process.

Temporal management is provided as Rash Manager tracks the patient's SIAscans, giving the skin specialist the option to visually compare a set of SIAscans for an area of interest, automatically calculating change from a set of SIAscans taken over time and displaying the output as a graph.

Rash Manager is fully integrated with all other products in the DERMETRICS family and shares a consistent user interface for ease of use.
